About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Maintenance and Engineering for its poultry processing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all maintenance, reliability, and engineering functions to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the facility. This includes overseeing equipment performance, facility infrastructure, capital projects, and technology improvements. The role involves directing a skilled team to optimize equipment uptime, minimize downtime, and support long-term plant growth and sustainability. Key responsibilities also include maintenance leadership, reliability management, engineering and capital projects, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and continuous improvement.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of maintenance and engineering experience in food manufacturing, particularly in poultry processing, is required, along with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and high-speed processing equipment. Technical skills should include expertise in CMMS systems, predictive maintenance tools, and a thorough understanding of relevant regulations. The role also demands a proven track record in team leadership, development, and fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
