CNC Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY :

Rock of Ages a division of Polycor has an immediate opening for a CNC Operator. The CNC Operator sets up and operates stone-cutting machinery. Duties include studying blueprints loading / unloading of parts and programs and performing regular maintenance on their machinery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for daily production of multiple CNC machines by means of loading / unloading parts part inspection troubleshooting and routine machine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints & drawings.
• Must have excellent basic math / shop math skills. Familiar with metric / standard conversion.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of basic measuring tools such as : micrometers calipers tape measures indicators and gauges.
• Maintain quality and safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned to meet operational and production objectives.

OTHER CAPABILITIES :

Possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail.
