Pay Information $2,355 per week About The Position Job Title : RN Profession : Nursing Specialty : Intermediate Care Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years ICU experience; IMC / PCU experience is a plus License : MD RN or compact license required Certifications : American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); NIH Stroke Scale Certification Must-Have : - Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience - BLS certification from the American Heart Association - ACLS certification from the American Heart Association - NIH Stroke Scale certification Description : This RN is responsible for managing high acuity patients who are often too critical for a medical / surgical floor but may not require an ICU level of care. The team is skilled in caring for populations such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post open-heart procedures, and those requiring acute continuous non-invasive ventilation (i.e., BiPAP / CPAP). These patients require continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring. The RN will be prepared to intervene quickly to any changes in hemodynamics or respiratory demands. The RN is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating an individualized plan of care for their patients while serving as an advocate and educator to patients and their families.
