Parking Lot Attendant - Part Time (Friday – Sunday, 2pm – 10 : 30pm)

Do you have a talent for engaging with visitors and making people feel welcome? The Indianapolis Zoo has a position for you! The Parking Lot Attendant communicates with guests, answers questions / concerns, and provides information and directions while delivering exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates are committed to advancing the Zoo's mission to protect nature and inspire people to care for our world. Past work experience in customer service is strongly desired as well as a patient and positive demeanor.

What You'll Do

• Provide friendly, professional service to Zoo guests and staff members.
• Communicate effectively by speaking in a clear and accurate manner.
• Guide and directs guest in a detailed and pleasant demeanor.
• Welcome and advise guests on bus shuttle arrival times.
• Act as a guide by providing the safest path and instructions for guests.
• Work closely with Security staff to provide a safe environment for all guests.
• Perform additional duties and / or assumes other responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Security.
• Ensure safety procedures are being followed by both staff and guests.
