Job Title : Registered Nurse

Location : Clifton Springs Hospital

Hours Per Week : 36 to 40 Hours

Schedule : Day / Evening and Evening / Night shifts (with every other weekend) available based on Unit

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Patient Care & Service : Enhance and restore patients' health through the nursing process; collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; perform diverse treatment procedures; provide comprehensive physical, educational, and emotional support to patients and their families; supervise assigned team members.

Planning & Communication : Develop and document personalized care plans that address each patient's unique needs, with assistance from the interdisciplinary health team; maintain clear communication regarding patient health status, treatment strategies, and progress.

Electronic Health Record (EHR) Management : Utilize EHR proficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and effective communication between patients and providers.

Compliance : Follow all department protocols, regulations (local, state, federal), and education requirements to remain compliant.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing

Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work - Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly. Frequent walking, standing, or squatting is necessary.
