Summary
The Accountant is responsible for applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP") and procedures to analyze financial information; prepare accurate and timely financial reports and trial balances; ensure appropriate accounting control procedures; and assist in the preparation of our consolidated financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of GAAP and its applications to revenue, fixed asset, treasury, and general accounting functions
- Assist with the preparation of certain external regulatory filings and reporting
- Reviews and verifies the accuracy of account coding
- Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger and sub-ledger accounts
- Provide income and transaction tax support
- Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements which would include income and balance sheets used for internal and external reporting purposes
- Respond to financial inquiries; provide requested information for use in effective management of the business and / or meeting external reporting needs
- Provide and effectively communicate financial information for internal and external audit
- Prepare certain external regulatory filings and reporting
- Validate work product is accurate
- Provide feedback, including sharing best practices, to team members
- Participate on cross-functional teams as required
- Identify business process improvement opportunities; lead in the development and implementation of effective solutions
Requirements

Compensation Range : $77,000.00-$115,000.00, plus bonus.
