A strong and well-established grain company in northwest Kansas is seeking to add an experienced Grain Merchandiser to their team. This is a collaborative environment where employees play a direct role in shaping trading strategy, customer relationships, and overall success.

Position Overview : The Grain Merchandiser is responsible for buying, selling, and optimizing grain inventory to meet market demands while maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate will have 35+ years of experience, preferably with coarse grains such as corn, milo, and wheat, and will be comfortable handling cross-country trading and higher-volume transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Purchase and sell commodities using market knowledge, analysis, and data to drive profitable results.
• Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with company goals while effectively managing risk.
• Monitor and analyze market conditions, competition, and transportation rates to optimize procurement and logistics.
• Conduct daily hedging activities and prepare accurate position reports.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing excellent service and timely support.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency.
