Director of Sales and Marketing
Description : Provide leadership and strategic direction to drive sales and marketing efforts to maximize growth opportunities in alignment with overall business goals.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth goals and market opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set pricing, forecasting, and market development plans.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for wire harness, control panel, and aerospace & defense electronics.
- Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and government contractors.
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, industry events and in the community.
- Serve as a strategic partner to customers, understanding their technical and operational needs.
- Oversee the proposal and quoting process, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.
- Negotiate and close major contracts and long-term supply agreements.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, quality and engineering teams to ensure alignment of capacity, quality and delivery expectations.
- Provide market feedback to influence new product capabilities and manufacturing technology investments.

Requirements :
Required degree in Business Management, Marketing or other related field8+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in a custom manufacturing environment with progressive leadership experienceStrong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to train as well as leadExcellent listening, negotiation and presentations skillsProven track record of building quality customer relationshipsAbility to adapt to changing priorities with a sense of urgencyProven success in improving processes and leading changeAbility to drive initiatives, while maintaining tactical responsibilitiesAbility to lift 50lbs as neededAbility to stand, sit and perform repetitive work for long periods of timeMust have a positive attitude with customer appreciation mentalityHighly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail with the ability to problem solveOperate with a sense of teamworkTimberline Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
