Commercial Binding Underwriter - Dallas

Our client is a growing MGA committed to building strong relationships with both their business partners and their employees. They have the authority to bind commercial lines coverages across multiple industries.

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Underwriter to establish a presence and operation here in the DFW Metroplex. They offices in Richardson, but are open to individuals who might be in other areas of the metroplex with commuting to the office on an as-needed basis.

General Job Description : This individual will be responsible for evaluating, quoting, and binding of new and renewal business submissions. This underwriter will already have established relationships within the North Texas market. This is not a pure sales role but does require someone with excellent communication skills to work with current and future relationships.

Functions :

• Contribute to the agency's profitability and growth goals by utilizing excellent underwriting acumen.
• Engage in primary and referral level account evaluation, application of terms, pricing, etc.
• Drive product, service, selection, pricing, and innovation for the Missouri related business.
