Monitoring patients with cardiac conditions such as heart disease  or arrhythmias

Attach electrodes to patients to collect EKG data

Monitor vital signs like blood pressure, oxygen levels, and respiratory rate

Set alarm limits on monitors

Detect dangerous or abnormal readings, and changes in rhythms

Document detailed notes about cardiac monitoring results, medications given, and changes in condition

Prepare patients for cardiac procedures

Ensure that patients were properly prepared for required tests

Collaborate with the healthcare team
