JOB DESCRIPTION : Library and Technology Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY :

• The Library and Technology Support Specialist provides district-wide technical and operational support for school librarians and media staff. This role serves as a liaison between the Technology Department and library / media programs across the district. The specialist provides front-line triage for support requestsparticularly those related to the Alexandria library system and IncidentIQand assists with general technology support as assigned. This position is not assigned to a single school site and will support all schools based on district priorities.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS :

Work Experience : Experience supporting staff in a K-12 school environment; familiarity with Chromebook hardware; and interest is expanding support scope beyond library systems.
