A growing Northeast metal fabrication company is seeking a Structural Detailing Manager to lead its detailing department and oversee the preparation of accurate drawings, CNC-ready files, and Bills of Material for structural and miscellaneous steel projects.

Responsibilities :

Manage and mentor detailing staff

Review drawings, specs, and models for accuracy and manufacturability

Produce and check shop drawings, CNC files, and revisions

Coordinate daily with engineering, project management, and production teams

Handle RFIs and ensure alignment with schedule and fabrication requirements

Requirements :

5+ years in structural steel detailing or fabrication

Strong AutoCAD / DraftSight skills (SolidWorks preferred)

Knowledge of fabrication processes and AISC standards

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Supervisory experience preferred
