Endocrinologist

Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health - an academic medical institution in Saginaw, MI - is looking for full-time BC / BE Endocrinologist to join our faculty team.

The fully accredited residency program is one of the countrys oldest and most established, an FQHC expansion underway.  CMU Healths nine clinics are located in the Great Lakes Bay Region - admired for its lakes and rivers, lush foliage and centralized location.

Position Description :

This is an Endocrinology faculty position and is open to all faculty ranks. The role is responsible for outpatient services while precepting medical students and residents. This opportunity provides flexibility to fit candidates into the appropriate setting for the success of the program as well as the development of the candidate.  Administrative duties associated with department as well as scholarly activities including Research and Publishing are compulsory with protected time allocated for these pursuits. This position is allocated for Clinical 80% Academic 20% protected time provided.

Requirements

• MD / DO
• State of Michigan licensed or eligible
• Board-eligible or certified in Endocrinology / Metabolism
• Controlled Substance license
• Must meet credentialing criteria
• Leadership or educational experience preferred
