AEMT 12 (Full-time)

Work Shift :

Primarily responsible for providing professional emergency treatment in the pre-hospital setting. Primarily treats and transports the sick or injured. Responsible for carrying out the mission vision and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare.

Education & Training :

High School graduate or GED equivalent. Completion of a vocational training

program as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.

Required Certification / Registration / Licensure :

Current Georgia AEMT certification. Valid Georgia drivers license. Current

AHA / ARC BLS certification. AHA ACLS / ARC ALS and AHA / ARC PALS or

PEARS certification within 9 months. CPT training within 9 months of hire.

FAST-ED stroke scale or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
