American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Pomona, California.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and 2 years of ICU experience for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in an ICU at an acute care, Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma, teaching hospital
  • Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 19 : 00–07 : 30
  • Travelers may be floated to any ICU or telemetry unit based on facility need
  • Cerner charting system is used
  • Weekend shifts are required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate
  • Return staff must have a 12-month gap before being eligible for rehire
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) and 1 holiday can be approved
  • Free parking is provided for staff
  • No specific scrub color required, but camouflage and character patterns are not allowed
  • COVID vaccination status may be required
  • Professional references and complete work history are required for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required at the time of application
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Completion of facility modules during orientation is required
