Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to join Reeves County Hospital District on a 13-week travel assignment. This position requires working Monday through Friday from 3 : 30 PM to Midnight, with on-call duties. The ideal candidate must be able to arrive at the facility within 15 minutes of being called during on-call periods.

The technologist will perform a balanced mix of X-ray and CT procedures, approximately a 50 / 50 ratio, ensuring comprehensive imaging support. While CT certification is not mandatory, extensive experience in CT imaging is required to ensure quality patient care and workflow efficiency.

Certifications and Licenses :

ARRT Certification in Radiography

CT Certification (preferred but not required)

Valid State Medical Radiologic Technologist License (or as required by the state)

What you bring :

Proven experience in radiologic imaging with a strong emphasis on CT procedures

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Strong communication skills and a professional bedside manner

Reliability and punctuality, especially for on-call duties

Flexibility to perform both X-ray and CT imaging as required, maintaining high standards of patient care

Ability to adapt to new environments quickly and work as part of a team

Preferred Education & Experience :

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Minimum of 2 years of recent radiology and CT imaging experience in a hospital setting

Prior travel or temporary staffing experience is a plus

Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient positioning techniques
