Texas Orthopedic Specialists is looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) who is self-motivated, an effective communicator and has excellent bedside manner to work in a multi-specialty orthopedic practice.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Will split time between clinic and surgical days
- Working in multiple physician / specialty clinics
- Provide comprehensive patient care to all patients within the practice
- Preform orthopedic physical exams
- Administer joint injections
- Order and obtain imaging studies and laboratory tests, interpret those results and communicate them with the physician as necessary
- Prepares patients for surgery and assist in the OR as first assist and able to perform skin closure
- Document on the practice EHR and the hospital EHR
- Exercise prescriptive authority to prescribe according to federal, state, and local laws
- Collaborate with multiple physicians across the practice
- Able to travel to our Alliance and Bedford offices
- Provide event coverage and school physicals as needed
