Area Sales Manager – Surgical Products

Overview of the Role

The Surgical Products Area Sales Manager will be responsible for covering all sales functions related to our surgical products within the greater Houston, Texas area. This position is ideal for someone who understands the selling environment within the Operating Room to leverage existing business growth and establish new accounts.

Who You’ll Work With

You will report to the Regional Sales Director while working closely with other Area Sales Managers, Clinical Account Managers, and the Vice President of Sales.

Major Accountabilities :

• Analyze the local market, develop sales strategies, and effectively execute plans to meet or exceed sales quotas and profit & growth objectives.
• Identify organic growth opportunities within the existing customer base and work on a strategy to close those opportunities.
• Secure Key Opinion Leader contacts. Develop clinical relationships that engage physicians and medical staff in support of product evaluations.
