The Role

Alvara is hiring a Director of Finance & Operations to lead the company’s financial strategy and executional infrastructure across product development, regulatory alignment, and physical and digital commerce. This role is foundational to how Alvara scales operationally, financially, and ethically.

This leader will be responsible for building and maintaining all internal financial systems, managing operational budgets across departments, and overseeing the implementation of regulatory frameworks from FDA to GDPR. You will play a direct leadership role in launching Alvara Lab Miami, while also preparing Alvara’s operating model to support data governance, retail systems, and international supply chains.

You will directly manage the DTC Project Manager and the Regulation & Compliance Analyst, ensuring that forward-facing consumer experiences are operationally sound and regulatory-ready. This role is ideal for a systems-minded operator who can translate complexity into control and strategic ambition into scalable execution.

Key Deliverables in the First 12–18 Months

• Build and maintain a comprehensive financial model aligned with real-time operational data and commercial planning
• Design and implement operational launch plan for Alvara Lab Miami, including construction budget oversight, timeline control, and vendor coordination
• Lead budgeting and execution for DTC initiatives, in close partnership with Product and Project Management
• Stand up internal systems to track COGS, margin, and inventory performance
• Oversee and integrate regulatory workflows across all business functions, including supply chain, digital privacy, and packaging compliance
• Build company-wide dashboard visibility into financial KPIs, cash flow, and performance benchmarks
• Manage and develop the DTC Project Manager and Regulation & Compliance Analyst, building internal standards and execution frameworks
• Prepare Alvara’s operations for Series A diligence, including financial reporting, documentation, and system controls
