PumpMotor Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Electric Pump / Motor Mechanic to join a local team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing repairing and rebuilding a wide range of electric motors pumps gearboxes and related equipment. This role plays a key part in keeping customer equipment operating safely efficiently and reliably.

Diagnose troubleshoot and repair electric motors pumps and mechanical systems.

Tear down inspect and rebuild motors pumps and rotating equipment.

Replace or repair components including bearings seals shafts and impellers.

Perform electrical testing alignment and vibration analysis when required.

Read and interpret schematics diagrams and work orders.

Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts used.

Operate hand tools shop machinery and testing equipment safely.

Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Communicate findings timelines and recommendations to supervisors / clients.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant mechanical experience including pumps
• 5 years of electrical experience 12-24 DC 120V-460V 3 phase
• Strong maintenance and repaid background
• Respectful to employees and customers
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. with easily reach bend twist kneel stoop squat crouch etc.
• Climb ladders into and out of in-ground vaults
• Must be able to work flexible schedules weekday overtime and weekends as needed
• Welding fabrication millwright experience is a plus
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be able to pass drug and background screening
