Tax Manager

Eastdil Secured is currently seeking a Tax Manager or an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join the Los Angeles office. This individual will manage federal and multi state tax operations and filings and will report to Head of Tax of the Company.

Essential Functions

Provide innovated tax planning and review complex income tax returns.

Identify and mitigate tax risks.

Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.

Handle tax audits.

Maintain tax balances on general ledger.

Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests

Education and Qualifications

4+ years in corporate tax role and 1+ year as tax manager.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or MA in Taxation.

CPA license.

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required

Extensive experience in commercial real estate and / or in financial services.

Previous experience working for The Big 4, huge plus.

Experience with International Tax a plus.

Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.

Experience using tax software and MS Office.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Top analytical skills with attention to detail.

Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
