Mission : As a wheeled vehicle mechanic, you will oversee and perform crucial maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles serving the Army in mission-critical roles.
Key Responsibilities :
Inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and testing wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems, and components.
Automotive electrical systems.
Supervising and performing tasks as required.
Requirements : The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be between 17 and 34 years old, meet U.S. citizen or permanent resident requirements, and adhere to tattoo guidelines with no major law violations or medical concerns.
Training and Certification : The selected candidate will undergo 10 weeks of basic training and 14 weeks of advanced individual training, earning nationally recognized certifications and demonstrating skills in maintenance and repairs, electronic troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
