Schedule / Hours :

Full-time evening shifts, 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with on-call duties (predominantly overnight). Call requirements may include 5-8 overnight slots and 1-2 weekend slots in an 8-week schedule, with arrival within 30 minutes when on-call.

Major Responsibilities :

Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association is required within 6 months unless exempted by the department leader.

Education Required :

Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.

Experience Required :

No prior experience is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, handle physical demands including lifting and pushing / pulling as necessary, and work with specific safety precautions due to exposure to various hazards.
