Job Summary (in list format) :

\n- Position : RN Med-Surg Acute Care / OBS Unit (Day Shift)

\n- Location : Valley View Hospital, Colorado (Traveler Housing Available)

\n- Housing : Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio or 1-bedroom apartments available near hospital; includes Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry; no pets or deposit; move-in ready; based on availability

\n- Unit : Acute Care / Med-Surg Adult; serving patients with ortho surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, acute / chronic illnesses

\n- Duties :

\n- Provide high-quality nursing care to acute care / med-surg adult patients

\n- Use specialized knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

\n- Utilize nursing process for care delivery

\n- Coordinate with interdisciplinary team

\n- Schedule :

\n- 12-hour day shifts

\n- Includes weekend rotation

\n- Must participate in call rotation : 1 call shift per 2-week period (in place of guaranteed hours if requested due to staffing)

\n- Experience Required :

\n- Minimum 2 years in Acute Care / Med-Surg / Telemetry or similar RN experience

\n- Licenses / Certifications Required :

\n- Current Colorado RN license

\n- Current BLS (American Heart Association)

\n- Current ACLS (American Heart Association)

\n- Proof of current flu vaccine (no exemptions)

\n- Submission Requirements :

\n- Resume

\n- Nursys license verification

\n- Skills sheet

\n- BLS and ACLS certificates

\n- Proof of flu vaccine

\n- Specialties : Med-Surg Adult, Observation, Telemetry

\n- General Certifications : BLS / BCLS, ACLS

\n- Other : Play and work in the Colorado Mountains; census growing due to seasonal increase in procedures and illnesses
