About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Account Manager to join our Post-Acute Care sales team . In this remote-based role , you will be responsible for supporting our customers in long-term care, home health, and hospice sectors. You will help them access the extensive range of medical supplies and equipment we offer, driving growth by nurturing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Compensation and Growth Opportunities

At McKesson, our Pay for Performance sales culture rewards your efforts directly. This position offers a base salary of approximately $100,000, with a starting sales incentive of $35,000. High-performing individuals can significantly increase their total target cash compensation to $150,000 and beyond within their first year!

What You'll Do

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of Post-Acute Care customers.
  • Prospect and cold call to generate new business leads.
  • Conduct business reviews and present consultative sales solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless customer support.
  • Maintain effective agreements and manage product distribution.
  • Partner with senior representatives on complex accounts.

What You Bring

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Critical Skills

  • Proven track record in selling to long-term care, home health, hospice or related sectors.
  • Strong abilities in cold calling and prospecting.
  • Demonstrated success in growing and retaining customer accounts.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales goals consistently.
  • Familiarity with consultative selling techniques and business reviews.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthcare distribution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Public speaking experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and organized team player.
  • A desire for professional growth and initiative.
  • Work Environment

  • Remote work setup with occasional travel (minimal overnight required).
  • Significant time spent on phone and computer tasks.
  • Education

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field strongly preferred.

    Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position :

    $114,000 - $190,000
