Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 15 / 2025 – End : 2 / 14 / 2026)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour rotating day / night shifts, including every other weekend

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2270 - $2440

Charting System : Allscripts - Paragon

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or compact state (Minnesota RN jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Monitor fetal and maternal health using advanced fetal monitoring techniques

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process

Accurately document patient care and interventions in the Allscripts - Paragon electronic health record system

Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed
