Job description

Pay : $35.00 - $55.00 per hour (with tips)

A Japanese restaurant, Ootoya is looking for experienced head servers / Captains to join our team.

Organized, detail oriented, hospitality professionals are needed for our company.

Compensations :

$18.00 - $23.00 + tips (candidates must complete server and captain training prior to appointment to the head server)

Duties :

General FOH jobs

Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, store maintenance

Reporting to managers

Inventory

Ordering

Scheduling

New employee training

On spot problem solving

Be in charge of the presence of the restaurant

Requirements :

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Must have an OPEN schedule for both weekends and holidays

Must be able to lift 40LB as needed

Must have at least 2-year of experience (as a server / head server)

Preferred Qualification :

Have a strong sense of responsibility and leadership

Organized, punctual people are needed

Cooperative / Team Player

Japanese Restaurant experience is a priority considered

NYC Food protection certificate

Shift availability :

Day Shift (Required)

Night Shift (Preferred)
