Travel MRI Technologist – Radiology

Location : Tucson, AZ

Duration : 13 weeks

Start Date : 11 / 10

Shift : 4x10s – Wed-Thu-Fri 10 : 00 AM – 8 : 30 PM, Sat 9 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM

Experience Required : 1 year

Position Overview :

Provides timely MRI imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Adjusts imaging parameters for studies of soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.

Requirements :

MRI experience with GE systems, preferably GE Signa 1.5T

It is preferred (but not required) that the MRI Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT preferred

Responsibilities :

Perform MRI procedures according to departmental and physician protocols

Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging

Maintain high-quality imaging and accurate documentation

Assist Radiologists in obtaining diagnostic images for interpretation
