Job descriptionProfessional with a master’s degree in architecture from an accredited university State Licensed Architect or equivalent A minimum of 6-10 years in planning, programming, project management, and architectural design Experience with building codes and specifications Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Proficient in Revit Experience in schematic through construction document phases Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Excellent presentation skills and the ability to speak in front of an audience Well organized Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment JLA invests in our employees , assisting in continuing education expenses and memberships in civic clubs and professional organizations. Join a Leading Multi-Discipline AE Firm as a Registered Architect
Are you a creative and motivated Registered Architect ready to design impactful spaces across a wide range of industries? JLA, a multi-discipline Architecture / Engineering / Landscape Architecture firm, is seeking talented professionals to join our growing team in Augusta, Georgia. Responsibilities :
- Lead or contribute to architectural design for projects of varying scale and type
- Develop concepts, plans, elevations, and construction documents using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients throughout all phases of design
- Ensure compliance with local codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability guidelines
- Attend site visits, client meetings, and design reviews
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and documentation
