Job Title : Intern Admin
Reports To : Principal
Contract Length : 225 Days
Primary Role :
Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Support the systematic study and analysis of the teaching-learning process and assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs. Contribute to the alignment and implementation of quality curriculum to enhance student achievement. Help plan and deliver professional development for teachers and staff.
Make classroom walkthroughs and observations. Assist with testing. Help with application to STEM designation.

Qualifications :
A Master's degree in education or related field is preferredCurrent North Carolina Administrator License preferred, or in the process of obtainingMinimum 3 years of classroom teaching experienceSkills :
Computer Skills : Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google WorkspaceCommunication Skills : Communicates effectively with teachers, parents, students, and colleagues to solve problems, inform, and collaborateCurriculum Knowledge : Capable of analyzing and evaluating curriculum for effectiveness and alignment with research-based practicesInstructional Leadership : Skilled in coaching, observing, providing feedback, and delivering professional development to improve instructionDemonstrates comprehensive knowledge of effective instructional practicesDuties and Responsibilities :
Instructional Leadership
Ensure alignment between school curriculum and the state's accountability programImplement MTSS processes to support student successDeliver results-oriented professional development based on school needsCollaborate with staff in instructional planningConduct fair and consistent evaluations within set timelinesMaintain open, timely communication with staff, parents, and studentsPromote school accomplishments across internal and external communitiesAnalyze student performance data and facilitate data-driven instructional meetingsLeverage technology to support school management and instructional improvementMaintain positive student behavior across school environmentsActively involved in application to NC STEM designationManagerial Leadership
