Administrative Assistant Location : Houston, Texas, United States

OverviewThis role supports the Administrative Manager in overseeing day-to-day office operations. The position also assists with new employee onboarding, basic HR administrative tasks, and event and cost management support. The ideal candidate is organized, service-minded, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the Administrative Manager and assist with other related tasks and assignments as needed.
- Assist with new employee onboarding activities, including preparing welcome materials, coordinating workstation readiness, and facilitating building and system access.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services and maintain accurate logs of daily mailroom activities. Manage invoice payments and procurement process, assisting staff as needed.
- Provide assistance with business invitation letters, hotel accommodations, and rental car arrangements for visitors or employees traveling on company business.
- Assist with basic cost management initiatives by tracking recurring office-related expenses and supporting vendor coordination as directed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.Ability to remain adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.High energy level, strong initiative, and a customer service–oriented mindset.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Current Driver’s License required.Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Office Administration, Communications, or a related field.1–2 years of administrative or office coordination experience required; experience in facilities or HR support is a plus.Powered by JazzHR
