6.50 hrs per day / 180 days per year

(M) 10 : 00-4 : 00

(T-F) 8 : 45 -4 : 00

Shift time is subject to building needs.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

If you do not have the minimum college credits for this position you may take theParaeducatorAssessment. Complete this FORMif youd like to be scheduled for the assessment.

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 72 college quarter credits from a nationally accredited institution / pass ETS test required.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must be accurate and efficient at completing tasks on time without constant / direct supervision.
• Ability to relate in a positive manner with students parents and staff / teachers supervisory staff.
• Must be able to work effectively with small groups or individual students under the supervision of certificated staff.
• Ability to accurately keep records.
• Must be willing to respond with compassion to a student needing assistance with personal care including verbally coaching students trhoughsuch situations.
