As Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the design and implementation of advanced clean energy solutions spanning utility-scale solar PV, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, and microgrids. Take ownership of the full engineering lifecycle, shaping grid-interconnected solutions and delivering high-impact projects that power communities with sustainable energy. This is a pivotal role offering autonomy and leadership in a fast-growing renewable energy sector, where you'll conduct interconnection studies, perform comprehensive power system studies, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with clients, utilities, and contractors to accelerate clean energy adoption while ensuring reliability, compliance, and long-term performance.

Requirements :

• California Professional Engineer (PE) License REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 6+ years of experience in power distribution, utility interconnection, or distributed energy resource (DER) systems
• Strong expertise in solar PV system design and EV charging infrastructure
• Experience with energy storage systems, battery storage, and / or microgrid design
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar tools for modeling and power system studies
• Proven ability to develop full construction drawing sets including single-line and three-line diagrams
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE standards, and utility interconnection procedures
• Experience performing load flow, arc flash, short circuit, harmonic analysis, and protective device coordination studies
• Ability to conduct site visits and assess infrastructure for optimal equipment placement
• Experience with BOMs, equipment specifications, and routing plans
• Excellent communication skills to write clear technical reports and engage with clients, regulators, and cross-functional teams
• Strong balance of technical depth with big-picture problem-solving abilities
