Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Location : Anchorage, AK

Schedule : Monday-Friday, PRN

Compensation : $35-$38 / per visit

Job Summary

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) at Ancora, you will :

  • Address patients' performance to support engagement in daily occupations that enhance their health and well-being.
  • Implement treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Educate patients on adaptive techniques and task breakdown strategies.
  • Assist with home assessments and recommend modifications.
  • Train patients and caregivers on adaptive equipment use.
  • Document progress on short- and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist on changes in treatment plans.
  • Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited two-year COTA program (approved by AOTA).
  • Current licensure, registration, or certification in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record and reliable transportation.
  • Proof of current auto insurance and registration.
  • Valid AK fingerprint clearance card (we can assist).
  • Current CPR certification and negative TB test (we can help).
