An Internal Medicine Physician providing comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, managing both day and night shifts on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Responsibilities include running codes, performing required procedures such as central lines, and collaborating with a team of hospitalists and advanced practitioners. The position requires board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and an active Tennessee state medical license.

Coverage Needed

  • 90 day credentialing timeframe, starting immediately after

Schedule

  • Days : 7 on / 7 off days
  • Nights; 7 on / 7 off nights
  • 12 hours per shift

    • Clinical Details

  • 200+ bed hospital
  • 14 bed, Open ICU; intensivist onsite
  • Day - Average Census : 11-15 per provider, 10 admits per shift
  • Night - Average Census : 6 encounters per night shift
  • Sub-specialty support on site
  • Running codes required

    • Requirements

  • BC or BE in FM or IM
  • Required Procedures / Skills : Central Lines (hard requirement)
  • ACLS - All certifications must be AHA
  • Active TN License

    • Support Staff

  • 7 Hospitalists, 1 Advanced Practitioners, 1 Clinical Performance RN
