Senior Specialty Representative - Dermatology - Beverly Hill, CA

What You Will Do
In this role you will serve as the primary customer contact, providing clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and navigating the complex payer environment.
Key responsibilities include :
- Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products, effectively communicate clinical benefits, and drive appropriate utilization.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and exceeding sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
- Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, customizing discussions, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and seek continuous growth.
- Demonstrate passion for our products and sustain that passion throughout the sales cycle while building our brand and serving patients.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and / or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field not sales related.OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and / or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field not sales related.OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and / or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field not sales related.Preferred Qualifications
More than 3 years of sales, marketing, and / or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries.Product or hospital sales experience in oncologic, cardiologic, inflammatory, nephrologic, dermatologic, rheumatologic, neurologic, endocrinologic, hepatologic, gastroenterologic, bone health, respiratory, hematologic, or infectious disease specialties.Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes.Local market knowledge.Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.Adaptability with core competencies : Sales Planning and Organizing; Leveraging Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge; Communicating with Impact; Driving for Results; and Cultivating Internal and External Relationships.Benefits
