First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in PEORIA, Illinois.

Position : RN – Pre / Post Op (PACU)

Contract : 13 Weeks | Start Date : 10 / 09 / 2025

Shift : 10-hour Days | Guaranteed Hours : 40 hrs / week

Unit Details :

  • Department : Pre-Op & Phase II Recovery
  • Beds : 60 (Preop + Phase II)
  • Nurse : Patient Ratio : 1 : 1
  • Common Patient Types : Ortho, Urology, Gyne, General Surgery, Bariatric, ENT, Dental GI, Open Heart, Neuro, Cath Lab, EP Lab, Pediatrics
  • EMR : EPIC (Optime / Radiant preferred)

    • Requirements :

  • Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year, EPIC experience required; cardiac experience preferred
  • License : Active IL RN license or application initiated
  • Other : Must produce negative drug screen (OSF Drug-Free Campus)

    • Scheduling / Call :

  • Weeknight Call : Once per week until 11 PM
  • Weekend / Holiday : None required
  • Floating : Within Preop / Phase II Units (3 units)
  • Orientation : 1–2 days
