Your Career As part of the Network Security dataplane team, you will develop and innovate solutions for Palo Alto Networks’ next-generation Firewalls and Prisma Access Cloud, focusing on network security, high throughput networking, cluster, and data plane architecture. You will also be responsible for innovating, developing proof of concept, and productizing new ideas through implementation and collaboration. This role is located at our Santa Clara, California headquarters, with in-office work 3 days a week. Your Impact Set the example for high accountability Execute and deliver impact individually and as part of the team Tool Management and Optimization Plan, deploy, and manage GitLab, Vault, and Artifactory across environments Ensure seamless integration and performance in FedRamp and China contexts CI / CD Pipeline Development Design, develop, and maintain CI / CD templates for various teams Support adoption and customization of these templates Cross-functional Collaboration Work with security, compliance, and development teams to align and integrate tools Gather requirements, provide expertise, and deliver scalable solutions Qualifications We seek someone passionate about mentoring engineers and balancing business, user, and team growth needs. Requirements include : Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar at scale Knowledge of IaC and tools like Terraform, Ansible Understanding of Unix / Linux, SSH, networking fundamentals 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or related fields Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana Hands-on with GitLab, Vault, Artifactory in complex environments Preferably experience in cybersecurity or high-tech environments and with AI tools for developer productivity Additional Information The Team Our engineering team is central to our mission of preventing cyberattacks. Compensation Disclosure Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location, with a typical range of $126,000 to $190,000 annually, plus stock options and bonuses.
