Senior Account Executive, Health Digital

We’re seeking a bold, insightful and passionate digital specialist to join our growing Health Digital team as a Senior Account Executive . The ideal candidate should be immersed in the latest trends, opportunities and best practices of the digital landscape. Their experience should include managing multiple digital / social programs from start to finish, including the ability to develop digital ideas to help health brands engage and reach key audiences of patients and healthcare professionals to grow trust and increase corporate reputation. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple programs at once, understand our processes for executing digital tactics, and work with senior digital colleagues and account teams to move programs forward.

Most importantly, the ideal candidate should have a passion for digital and integrated marketing and its evolving landscape, strong writing and editing skills, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment. This is an opportunity for an ambitious and innovative candidate who is looking to join a high-octane team managing high-profile influencer campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Play a major role in the creation of digital and social communications plans and goals; manage against them
  • Lead development of content and social briefs for creative outlining goals, mandatories, expectations, performance considerations, etc.
  • Support the VP Digital Lead as a day-to-day client contact and digital / social strategist – translating client needs into actionable plans and addressing questions or issues thoughtfully and efficiently
  • Ensure every deliverable, whether internal or client-facing, is visually engaging, strategically sound, and representative of our best work
  • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in digital and social strategy, including creating and driving integrated execution plans
  • Build relationships with internal specialists and senior stakeholders to meet client needs
  • Support the growth of the digital business through great work and by building strong internal and external relationships
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital and social trends, channel capabilities, content formats and performance best practices
  • Act as a champion for thoughtful, rigorous and creative digital marketing within Edelman and the industry
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant experience in Digital and Brand Marketing, including community management, social media content creation and digital monitoring
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e., advertising, communications, PR, marketing)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agency setting
  • Clear understanding of the digital marketing landscape, and the role of digital and social marketing
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with professional client interaction
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal contacts
  • Ability to identify trends and cultural moments to fuel editorial storytelling for social engagement
  • Lead development of executive communications, primarily content, to elevate leadership visibility
  • Contribute to integrated storytelling that blends creativity, strategy and impact
  • Confidently integrates AI into daily workflows to enhance strategy and productivity
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects with digital content development
  • Experience leading digital plans for corporate health brands and senior executives
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing / communications for health brands, social media strategy, and regulatory review processes
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical companies and navigating medical, legal, and regulatory review processes
  • Creativity in storytelling and presentation
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, PowerPoint, and basic video / image editing for quick asset creation
  • Interest or experience in health equity and purpose-driven storytelling
  • Salary range : $60,000 - $74,000 per year

    Compensation and Benefits

    An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. The range listed is one component of the total compensation package. Benefits may include bonuses, Paid Time Off, and region-specific benefits.
