The position involves providing ongoing coverage as a General Surgeon, with a requirement for board certification, active North Carolina medical license, and a clean background. Preferred housing is provided onsite, along with adherence to specific credentialing standards including Medicare and Medicaid enrollment.

Dates Needed :

Ongoing coverage, including holidays :

Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years

24 hour call shifts 7A - 7A

Bread and Butter GS :

Hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, "lumps and bumps," abscess drainage, endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy), appendectomy, small bowel and colon surgery.

Call coverage only.

Clean background HIGHLY preferred. Board Certification Required.

NO RECENT OR OPEN MALPRACTICE CASES

Malpractice or disciplinary information must be included before candidate will be considered.

Must have active NC license and NC DEA (NC address).

Surgeon will be provided hospital owned individual apartments onsite. Very nice and clean, cable and Wi-Fi.

Call type : physician will be on-call for services, and bylaws require them to be within 20 minutes of the facility. Preferred housing, again, is on-site in hospital-owned apartments.

Meditech 6.1 is current EMR.

if provider is military and required military, chief or employer approval to moonlight.

Need 4 hours gratis daily. We prefer to have gratis hours bulked
