Safety Support Coordinator
Our client is a reputable organization seeking an organized, detail-driven professional to support injury reporting, claim tracking, and safety-related administrative efforts. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate documentation and supporting communication around workplace incidents.
Addison Group is hiring a Safety Support Coordinator to assist with managing workers' compensation files, maintaining safety-related documentation, and communicating with internal teams regarding employee work status. The position requires strong organization, confidentiality, and the ability to handle a high volume of detailed information.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor while representing the department
- Track workers' compensation cases from initial report through final resolution
- Collect, upload, and organize documentation related to workplace incidents
- Communicate regularly with injured employees regarding modified duty or off-duty status
- Monitor and record temporary duty assignments and time away from work
- Prepare weekly updates summarizing new injuries, case progress, and current employee status
- Ensure all incident-related documentsincluding reports, witness statements, and medical updatesare accurately stored and maintained
- Coordinate return-to-work requirements, including scheduling screenings or assessments
- Update internal logs for on-the-job injuries, liability claims, and vehicle-related incidents
- Collaborate with internal departments, leadership, and external partners as needed
- Provide work status updates to HR, scheduling teams, and operational groups
- Assist with planning safety-related meetings, training sessions, and department events
- Coordinate travel arrangements for safety department personnel
- Support department efforts to meet organizational safety goals
