We are seeking a Medical Coordinator in Nashville, TN ! The Medical Coordinator will plan, track, monitor and ensure that all clients' needs are being met within appropriate time frame. Primary responsibilities include the scheduling of all annual, follow-up, and emergency medical appointments. These include communicating with medical professional staff, program specialists, supervisors and program directors.
Responsibilities
- Schedule all client medical appointments to state mandated licensing regulations
- Observe and monitor the client’s status through paperwork and follow-up appointments
- Observe and track clients' physical care including, but not limited to annual and emergency
appointments
Provide accurate, timely, and consistent documentation of client medical appointments in theappropriate records
Attend all pertinent medical appointments that need to be addressed more clearly and preciseto achieve the best results for the individual
Communicate with supervisors, co-workers and medical professionals’ regarding clients’ statusEmployees must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry orinvestigation
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferredValid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordComplete all state and agency required training per state guidelinesAbility to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receivingsupports
Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situationsWorking Conditions
May be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staffFrequent lifting, stretching, and other physical exertion may be requiredMay be required to transport individuals utilizing your own vehicle or company providedvehicles
