Neurocritical Care - Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Join Our Elite Neuro ICU Team!
We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) with a passion for neurocritical care to provide expert clinical management of critically ill neuro patients. You'll work closely with our Neuro ICU supervising physician and attending ICU physicians to deliver evidence-based care, respond to code strokes, and assist in emergency management outside the ICU.
What You'll Do :
Perform comprehensive neuro and physical assessments; document and communicate findings clearly.
Order and interpret diagnostic and lab tests; explain procedures and anticipated outcomes to patients, families, and staff.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Monitor patient status, intervene appropriately, and provide stabilizing care.
Deliver family-centered care by keeping families informed about patient progress.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research.
Serve as a clinical expert and mentor to staff, students, and the broader healthcare team.

Requirements
Physician Assistant Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited ARC-PA program
Licensed PA in New York State
Minimum 2 years acute critical care experience (MICU, SICU)
Current NCCPA certification, BLS, and ACLS
Nurse Practitioner Requirements :
NYS Nurse Practitioner License (Master's-level, advanced practice)
Minimum 2 years acute critical care experience (MICU, SICU)
Current BLS, ACLS, NP certification with prescription privileges, and DEA certification
