Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Obstetrics Registered Nurse to join our team for the evening shift. This full-time position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. As an Obstetrics RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to expectant mothers, newborns, and their families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current California Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics
• Minimum of 1 year Obstetrics experience

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of pregnant women, including monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, and contractions

Assist in the labor and delivery process, including coaching patients through contractions and pushing

Perform initial assessments of newborns, including Apgar scoring

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatments, and medications

Provide comprehensive education to patients and families on topics such as prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care
