Commercial Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team specializing in high end projects such as residential or commercial finishing carpentry. The role involves working closely with 1-2 other carpenters on-site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Perform high end window and door installation
• Execute wood carpentry tasks.
• Conduct millwork and finish carpentry.
• Hang drywall and perform taping, spackling, and finishing.
• Install doors, frames, and hardware.
• Utilize hand and electric tools proficiently.
• Ensure the site is clean and organized.

Work Environment

The work environment requires wearing high visibility clothing, jeans, a hard hat, and safety boots. Typical working hours are from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM. You will work alongside 1-2 carpenters and a foreman, depending on the project size.

This is a Contract position based out of St. Charles, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
