Job descriptionSelect Specialty Hospital - Springfield is a 60-bed free-standing critical illness recovery hospital, located approximately two blocks east of Cox Health Hospital South. We specialize in helping critically ill patients breathe, speak, eat, walk and think as independently as possible. Select Specialty Hospitals specialize in long term care for chronically critically ill or post-ICU patients. Select Specialty Hospital provides comprehensive, specialized care for patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders. Our primary focus is to wean medically complex patients from mechanical ventilation and restore independent breathing. HNICORE Program - training and thought leadership program, performance improvement and advancement Clinical Academy - University of Texas at Austin -Dell Medical School - builds clinical excellence and camaraderie for each HNI Provider E&M University - Coding Education, EM evaluation and management Live Sim Labs (at specific locations) HNI offers many additional opportunities region by region to earn CMEs Passion for delivering high-quality. value-based versus volume-based care. Preference for real-time, data-driven clinical decision making. Desire to be part of an organization committed to excellence. Board Certified or Board Eligible MD or DO (IM or FM). Current, unrestricted Wisconsin license to practice. Current, unrestricted federal, and as needed, state prescriptive authority.
