Weld Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Due to our continued growth, STS Technical Services has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Weld Supervisor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are seeking a motivated leader to oversee our team of MIG welders and fabricators, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality production standards. Hiring Note : We are seeking bilingual candidates for this role. Those who speak both English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of MIG welders and fabricators. Delegate job responsibilities effectively to optimize workflow. Train, mentor, and motivate staff to meet manufacturing requirements and schedules. Assist with hands-on tasks as needed to complete assignments. Inspect products and equipment for defects or malfunctions to maintain quality standards. Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures. Communicate process changes and updates to employees to ensure compliance with company procedures. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing facility working on the shop floor. Must be bilingual, English and Spanish. Strong ability to measure, compare, and perform necessary calculations to ensure compliance with engineering or sales specifications. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints. Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience working with steel is a plus. Demonstrated experience leading and motivating a team to meet production goals accurately and on time. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
