PURPOSE

The Quality Technician I performs standardized or prescribed assignments involving production-related quality tasks. This position will work closely with UTC / MEG / QA / and production personnel on general and customer-specific issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Perform Measurement System Analysis studies on measuring and testing equipment
• Audit / inspect the in-process product for targeted products / customers for conformance to requirements
• Perform quality data collection, analysis, and feedback for continuous improvement
• Performs first-pass yield and rolled throughput yield analysis
• Performs internal quality process audits
• Supports QA departmental functions as needed in production inspections and gauge calibration / maintenance
• All other duties as assigned
