As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding service at a leading auto manufacturing location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will interact with visitors, employees, and contractors, offering excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.

Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal protocols.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.

Operate security-related equipment, such as access control systems, surveillance cameras, and communication devices, in accordance with site guidelines.

Remain alert to surroundings and maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements

A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
