Description
The Center for Student Engagement at Pace University is seeking to hire a Graduate Intern for Campus Activities on the New York City campus.. The Graduate Intern for Campus Activities is a part-time graduate internship reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Orientation and Campus Activities. She / he / they / them will support the development of student programming, student organization advisement, and event management. The Graduate Intern for Campus Activities is responsible for developing marketing materials for campus activities events, assisting with the management of social media to promote campus events, and other duties as assigned.
Advising
- Serve as an advisor for 10-12 student organizations.
- Co-advise the Pace University Spirit Ambassadors, an organization that promotes school pride and tradition on campus, and the #PaceThursdays program, as well as junior and senior reps. for Student Government Association.
Programming
Assist the Assistant Director with the planning and implementation of Weeks of Welcome programming for the fall semester, as well as the Winter Warm Up spring welcome programming.Participate in the development of Campus Activities programs including Spirit Week, the Broadway series, Advocacy Series, Campus Activities Fair, and other departmental initiatives.Serve as lead for the development of evening and weekend programming initiatives, in partnership with student organization and with the support of the student engagement staff.Assist in the creation of new department programs, traditions, and initiatives.Coordinate logistics for student organization events and work with the Budget Manager to monitor student organization finances on the SetterSync system.Collaborate with Graduate Staff to assist with signature programs such as Student Organization training, Leadership programs, and the Annual Student Organization Awards ceremony.Marketing & Social Media
Develop marketing strategies and publications for campus activities programs.Manage social media to promote campus activities events.Other Responsibilities
Support the Office in all university related programs and functions.Participate in Professional Development on / off campus.Other duties as assignedRequirements
